A high build, fast drying zinc phosphate primer suitable for iron and steel. Our Anti Corrosive Grey Primer has excellent scratch filling qualities and has good easy sanding qualities.
It's formulated for brushing, though also sprays very well with the addition of synthetic thinners.
Etch Primer is for application to aluminium and other difficult metals. It's not the best brushing product due to its nature and has its own dedicated thinner which is usually necessary for a successful application. Please note that Galvanised surfaces will need further preparation before applying Etch Primer and that Stainless Steel is not really made for painting. Contact us for advice on either of these substrates.
