of Manchester using pigments of extremely high quality and is specially designed for Canal Boats,
Steam Engines and Historic Vehicles of all kinds. |
|
| NEWSFLASH JANUARY 2010 |
| After many years as the leading
supplier of specialist paint to the canal boat industry
Phil and Zita Speight have now teamed up with Clive and
Jane Brown of Midsummer Models Ltd to widen the range of
markets served. |
| Phil Speight (who is himself a
signwriter and coach painter of 40yrs standing) said "We
have recently supplied all the paint for the new
locomotive Tornado which has shown us that there are
many other markets in which the qualities of our unique
product range can flourish. We have noted the need to
focus on new Heritage markets outside of the canals and
are very excited by the new partnership. |
| We have been friends with Clive and
Jane who are well known within the Showmans Guild as
well as the Heritage Steam & Transport sphere for
several years and have high hopes for the future. |
| Our brand is being extended now as "Craftmaster
Paints" to further enhance and create awareness." |
| Clive Brown said: "We will begin our
new venture from January 2010 and we are enthusiastic to
continue and develop the paint and accessory range as
well as continuing to provide expert technical support
in case of difficulty. Existing Customers should have
the same excellent service from us as before. |
| Exciting new colour ranges are now in
development and should hopefully be seen at some point
in 2010 - watch this space. |

| Dear Craftmaster Paints, |
 |
| I must thank you for the
excellent quality of your paints. I have just finished restoring
my 1904 Wolseley car which I brush painted with Craftmaster
paints. Attached is a picture of the finished car. |
| Years ago I always used
Valentine coach enamel with excellent results but after that was
withdrawn from the market I have had trouble finding a suitable
replacement. All other so-called coach paints have been rubbish
in comparison. However, I am extremely pleased with Craftmaster
paints that are very close to the old types of coach enamel. It
is also very good to be able to use an appropriate coloured
undercoat, something that seems to be impossible to find
elsewhere. |
| I will definitely be using
Craftmaster paints in the future and have already happily
recommended them to many people. |
| Regards, David Ralph,
Veteran and vintage car owner and restorer. |
